  • Today: Mostly sunny. Heights: 44-48.
  • This evening: Mostly clear. Low: 23-29.
  • Morning: Mostly sunny. Heights: 50.

The past eight days have seen colder-than-normal weather and we’re likely to extend the streak to at least 10 by mid-week. However, temperatures will be milder through mid-week when highs return to the mid to high 50s. The week is mainly dry, although we could see a rainy spell on Friday or at the weekend.

Today (Monday): We’re waking up to the coldest weather of the season, with a few teenage spots. Sunshine is helping afternoon temperatures rebound into the mid to high 40s, which is still a good 10 degrees below normal. Winds light from the south around 5 to 10 mph. Confidence: High

High pressure holds tight Wednesday and Thanksgiving, implying a continuation of sunny, dry weather. Both days’ highs are in the mid-50s, which is closer to normal. Wednesday night will be clear and cool with lows in the mid to high 20’s in our colder areas to the mid 30’s downtown. Confidence: Medium-High

clouds increase Thursday night to Friday Chance of showers tomorrow. Rain becomes more likely as Friday progresses, but there are questions about timing and intensity that may not be answered for a few days. It is possible that the rain will continue until the weekend. Highs should be around 50, lows near 40. Confidence: Low-Medium

That weekend should be windy and cool, and whether it rains depends on the timing of a storm system at the end of the week. If the system moves through faster, we would get dry weather. If it develops more slowly and moves through the region, we could see wet weather on Saturday and/or Sunday. Rain or not, we’re likely to see highs in the 50’s and lows near the 40’s. Confidence: Low-Medium
