DC’s first ready-to-drink espresso martini was launched the same day and sold out

WASHINGTON, November 22, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Blossom Beverages, a DC-based beverage company, unveiled its first product last Saturday in the Union Market District. Blossom: a boozy canned espresso martini, the district’s first ready-to-drink (RTD) espresso martini.

The company’s flagship offering was unveiled at a DJ-driven pop-up party that included product tastings, exclusive merchandise drops and more than 8,000 cans of Blossom Espresso Martini. While the event was billed as a two-day party, all inventory sold out on day one, marking a hugely successful launch. The arrival of Blossom is notable in that it signals that the world’s trendiest cocktail is making its way beyond the bars, into the glasses and cans of consumers in the nation’s capital and very soon across the country.

With its successful launch, the company has confirmed its ability to capture the “in bar” experience in a can with this espresso martini. Once considered an obscure favorite for mixology fans looking for an extra kick, the unique elixir has quickly gained popularity. After Blossom’s founder saw a gap in the market, David Jackalong with a team of mixologists, spent 18 months of painstaking formulation and multiple recipe revisions to craft what the company calls “delicious energy” for the fast-growing RTD market.
