With most of the top-tier teams finally starting the postseason last week, there wasn’t much excitement.
Each of the top 10 teams in last week’s SBLive Louisiana Top 25 rankings progressed through all of their respective second round playoff games following a bye the week before.
There were also only three teams in last week’s leaderboard that fell victim to the anger bug.
With the quarterfinals starting later this week, there’s a chance that a few more teams will be left behind.
But now here are this week’s top 25.
1. Destrehan (11:0)
For the first time all season, the Wildcats failed to score 40 or more points. But they still had a comfortable win, defeating Dutchtown 35-14 in the second round of the unselected Division I playoffs.
Destrehan, No. 3 in the group, will be traveling in this week’s quarterfinals, taking on No. 11 East St. John.
2. Many (10-0)

It is now setting up a very intriguing quarter-final as Catholic will be home on Friday to take on Edna Karr, a very dangerous No. 7 in the seed.
8 Roston (10-1)
After the Bearcats’ big season finale, their win over West Monroe, there was no disappointment.
Ruston, the top seed in the Division I non-select playoffs, started slowly before coming on as a second-half substitute to break away from Ouachita Parish 37-16. The Bearcats are now playing at 9-seeded Denham Springs, which won 29-28 at Benton via a last-second field goal.
