Friday 25th Nov (Black Friday)

The big shopping day known as Black Friday may require an umbrella or raincoat, with light showers possible, forecasters say. But they don’t expect the whole day to be a flop.

The best shot of spotty rain showers appears to be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and only about a tenth of an inch is expected.

Temperatures on Friday should start out cold, in the mid to over 30s in the morning before climbing into the low 50s under overcast skies in the afternoon.

Saturday 26 Nov

Forecasters are saying Saturday will be a fine day for late November, with mostly sunny skies and afternoon temperatures in the mid 50’s.

One thing to note: The Weather Service says the timing of a weekend storm system is uncertain at this time, so there’s a chance of some rain moving in late Saturday night.

Sunday 27 Nov

Sunday is another important travel day for many people and those planning to drive or fly need to keep an eye on the current weather forecast. As of now, the weather service is assuming that a storm system will bring heavy rain at times on Sunday.

There is also a possibility of strong gusty winds, according to private weather forecasting company NY NJ PA, based in Monmouth County.

Although the timing could change, forecasters expect most of the rain will occur in the morning and early afternoon. They say it’s possible the rain will start Saturday night and end early Sunday, or start Sunday morning and last into the afternoon.
